Dear Notre Dame students and families,
I am thrilled to begin my sixth year at Notre Dame Academy! I teach seventh and eighth grade Reading and Language Arts. I am also the teacher moderator for the Book Club and the co-teacher moderator for the Newspaper Club, and I teach the eighth grade Language Arts HSPT test prep class during the first trimester.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Seton Hall University, where I double majored in Secondary Education and English, and I also earned a Certificate in Information Technologies. I did my student teaching in tenth grade English, and I have previously taught seventh grade Language Arts. In addition, I worked as a substitute teacher for grades 5-12 in all subjects- even art and gym!
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. The best way to reach me is through my email, cfernandez@notredameint.org.
