About Mr. SlayI am thrilled to join Notre Dame this year as the 7th & 8th grade Social Studies teacher! A product of catholic schools from PreK through college, I first developed a passion for history during middle school when none other than Mr. Reid was my teacher! After graduating from Seton Hall University I worked in Real Estate before starting my teaching career. At my previous school I also ran the Money 101 Club for students after school which introduces scholars to various entry level financial topics including budgets, short- and long-term investing, credit and debit cards, stocks, scholarships, home ownership, entrepreneurship, checking & savings accounts, and retirement. Outside of school, I have over 40 fish in my aquariums, enjoy chilling with my dog, listening to music, and love tattoo art.
