My name is Mary Koegel. I've been teaching for 23 years and became part of the Notre Dame family twelve years ago.

I love teaching kindergarten! Being in the classroom at times is like stepping into Peter Pan's shoes--it's a chance to "never" grow up and to be renewed by the hope and potential of my students each day.

I find inspiring a young child to read and write one of the most rewarding experiences to be had. To pass on a love of learning is my greatest goal.
